• Position provides on site development, architecture and planning support for a large DoD Customer.
• Design, develop, integrate, implement, test, and support network management software system based on the NeuralStar Network Management Application and Platform.
• Northern VA Based Position
  
• Up to 25% national travel, possible international travel

• 4-8 years of software development experience in various capacities.
• B.A. or B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Network Engineering, or programming experience in a commercial environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Candidate must possess the following skills
• Solid analytical skills and understanding of the software development life
• Visual Basic, VB-script, Object-oriented design, COM, RDBMS (SQL), and Internet technology experience
• Operational or development experience with MS SQL Server
• Windows Server and Client operating system environment, and MS Office tools, including Outlook
• Highly desirable technical skills include
• Network Operations, Network Architecture and/or Network Management
• Database design and object oriented methodologies.
• MS Visual Studio

• Solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to:
• Learn new applications and software tools quickly and independently
• Function as a responsible, self-motivated team member
